We're making important decisions that will shape the future of the BVO! Help us make a better Scholarship model and organization by answering some questions. It'll only take 10 minutes of your time.

We'll be talking about important things at this year's business meeting in Copenhagen.

As you may be aware, there has been an ongoing discussion around the Scholarship rotation for the past few years now. How we send Viking Scholars on exchange impact our alumni organization in many ways. It affects the rate at which we grow and how well we can sustain the BVO. To secure future scholarship opportunities, some changes could be considered.

Based on the results of the organization wide climate survey from a few years back, the international board has been exploring options for improving the current scholarship model over the course of several years.

At convention in Stockholm, it was decided that a new rotation will be voted on in Copenhagen at the annual business meeting this August. The board was given a mandate to form an independent committee, to lead a discussion around how a new rotation model might look.

The International board has already drafted a proposal for a future rotation, that along with the committee proposal and the current rotation model, will be up for a vote in Copenhagen.
We will be giving all Vikings the opportunity to vote by proxy so that you can have your voice heard without traveling to Copenhagen.

A report will be sent out a few months before Convention, presenting a general overview of the BVO finances along with the different proposals and how to implement them.

To make sure we get proper input from the, we ask that you please help the committee draft their rotation model by completing this survey first chance you get.
